Academic Family Seeking a 2.5–3 Room Apartment in West Berlin

We are looking for a furnished or partly furnished 2.5- or 3-room apartment in West or Southwest Berlin, preferably from 1 September 2026 for approximately two years. My name is Prof. Dr. Anna Phirtskhalashvili. I am a university professor and legal scholar from Georgia. I have received a two-year fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and will conduct research at the University of Potsdam, Campus Griebnitzsee. I will live in Berlin with my husband and our 17-year-old son. Our son will attend the Nelson Mandela School in Berlin. We are a quiet, responsible and non-smoking family and will take excellent care of the apartment. We are particularly interested in Nikolassee, Wannsee, Zehlendorf, Steglitz, Grunewald, Schmargendorf, Wilmersdorf, Charlottenburg, Schöneberg, or other areas with a convenient connection to Griebnitzsee. It is very important for us that the apartment is located close to public transport, especially an S-Bahn or U-Bahn station. A good and direct connection to the University of Potsdam, Campus Griebnitzsee, and to the Nelson Mandela School is a major priority. We are looking for: 2.5 or 3 rooms preferably two separate bedrooms furnished or partly furnished long-term rental, ideally for two years close proximity to an S-Bahn or U-Bahn station good public transport connections to Griebnitzsee and central Berlin official registration at the address must be possible (Anmeldung is essential) I have a stable income in Germany through my two-year fellowship and can provide all required documents, including proof of income, confirmation of my fellowship, identification documents and a SCHUFA report.
