I am participating in the Prague Quadrennial for Scenography in June 2027. I am a professor/designer at a smaller uni in Niagara, Canada and teach and research in the field of design and production for theatre. I am a non-smoker and occasional drinker. Plant dad, I am pet and caffeine friendly. References available. Cheers.

About Me
David is the Scenographer in the Department of Dramatic Arts. He holds a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia and is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. Formerly with Concordia University in Montreal, his designs for theatre, film, television, and industry have been seen across Canada. His work at Brock has included the set and costume designs for the Mainstage productions since 2004. He teaches theatrical design, production, and stagecraft at Brock. David researches marginalized and virtual spaces through visual arts and theatre design, the application of digital technologies to the collection of performance ephemera, and regional identity construction and transmission through scenographic practice and research. Recent projects include AnthropoScene (autumn 2022), SCORCHED (autumn 2024), and AnthrApology (2023-25). David was Director of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts (2016-21), Director of the Centre for Studies in Arts and Culture (2009-12, 2021-24) and Chair of the Department of Dramatic Arts (2012-16).
