We are a local couple looking for a comfortable temporary home while our house is being remodeled. We expect to need housing from approximately September 1 through November 30, 2026, with the possibility that we may need to extend for a month or two depending on the remodeling schedule. Our preferred location is Richardson, near Jupiter Road and Belt Line Road, although we are flexible within several miles of that area. We would ideally like a 2-bedroom home, apartment, or condo, but a 1-bedroom with a separate den, study, or other private work area would also work well. One of us works from home and handles confidential financial information, so we need workspace within the private residence rather than a shared or communal business center. We have one small dog, so the property must be pet-friendly. Furnished housing would be convenient, although our main priorities are location, adequate space, reliable high-speed Internet, and flexibility if our remodeling project takes somewhat longer than expected. Because we are homeowners ourselves and will be living nearby while our own home is under construction, we would take very good care of the property. We would be happy to discuss dates, terms, and any questions an owner may have.
