Description
We're a Kiwi family currently living in Wellington, New Zealand. My wife (Emily) and I are moving to Melbourne at the beginning of 2027, as my wife will be beginning a PhD at Deakin (at the Burwood campus). We are bringing our (currently 10 month) daughter, and hopefully our lovely golden retriever Morag. Emily is doing her PhD in false information, conspiracy theories and Islamaphobia, and currently works in strategic communications. I am a lawyer at the New Zealand Law Commission, and will be looking for a similar role in Melbourne. We are looking for a rental property for 6 months to a year or more, ideally in in one of the central eastern suburbs between the CBD and Burwood. We're hoping to stay in a family-friendly neighbourhood, where we can make local connections and get to know people.

Comments: We are aiming to move early 2027 (for my wife's PhD) - some flexibility around the start date. We are also flexible as to the length of rental, but ideally looking for 6-12 months.
