A very nice Norwegian researcher came to stay in order to interview high-ranking civil servants in London, as part of a project examining the link between education and the profession in the UK, Norway and France. She was very appreciative of the flat. Looked after it well while I was out of the country. We had dinner together one evening, tea another time and I took her to an exhibition at the Royal Academy. It was as if I'd known her for a long time.
