For a week we shared our home with a family from Dublin. David is photographer having a show called "Leaving Dublin" in Melbourne at the immigration museum. He did these portraits that are so interesting of families and individuals who left Dublin in 2008 during the financial crisis there. The family is now traveling around Australia and New Zealand doing follow-up portraits. This took the family to our area in Byron Bay, New South Wales where they also had a wonderful holiday by the beach.They loved our home--especially their 8-year-old daughter.
