I do find Sabbatical Homes wonderful! The people who come thru it are always delightful and the lovely Australian family - with three fantastic children were an absolute treat to meet. They were able to sort out their lives having crossed the globe.. get the children in schools they liked, find somewhere permanent to live in Oxford, and make a load of connections. All in the three weeks they stayed. Now I am due for a repeat booking - from the family ( + new baby) who last stayed here in 2012, in July.
