Bright apartment on quiet street close to all amenities and transport links

We would like to welcome you to our home while we are on sabbatical in Italy. We are both academics, in the field of Archaeology and of Communications. Our flat in Miranda Road, has a lovely atmosphere, which while being very close to all the amenities of a city is set on a quiet road with a relaxing outlook onto gardens on the back, and onto a quiet residential road, on a slight hill. The apartment is actually a maisonette over the first and second floor, with entrance on the ground floor. This give the feel of a house, in the style that is typical of London. The dine-in kitchen with garden view is situated on the first floor as is the sitting room/lounge which is a sunny room with two large windows, a fireplace and mantelpiece, sofa and fitted carpet. Upstairs on the second floor, is a lavatory room (with toilet and basin), separate bathroom with bath tub, basin and bidet and a double bedroom. There is a second bedroom however this is not available for use as we need to use it as a storage room. We may be able to make this available at the time of renting, so please enquire if it is needed. The price displayed does not include the use of the second bedroom.
