Hi, I'm Kathryn. I live between London and my house in the South of France. I'm a freelance consultant and associate lecturer in business communications, and I often have to travel to London (where my family and many of my clients are based) or Paris to teach. So my home in the Dordogne is available for short or longer term rentals or exchanges. My home is a spacious, airy, three-bedroom, two-bathroom house over three levels with a small garden and a swimming pool. It's just on the edge of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, a medieval town on the Dordogne river in the heart of wine country between Bordeaux and Bergerac. It's on the high-speed rail link and main road between the two cities, and the house is about ten minutes walk from the station. The main attraction in the town is the Saturday market, which recently won an award for "France's most beautiful market". I share my life with Rosie, a gentle, well-mannered, middle-aged Bearded Collie — calm, fully house-trained, no chewing, no drama. For exchanges, we'd need some flexibility to accommodate her in return. I'd be happy to pay an additional pet deposit, cover professional end-of-stay cleaning, and provide references who can vouch for her and for us.
